Community Connections and Gatherings in Kits
Hi, I live in a housing coop at 5th & Trafalgar. We received the award from the Vancouver Parks Board for the most beautiful block in 2001. (We're very proud of this! They discontinued the program after that, and we like to think they felt no one could compete with us.)
We have a common room and small kitchen and could host a Kits Village spaghetti dinner some time.
I'm organizing a block party in the 2600 block west 5th for June 20, Carfree days. You're all invited, of course!

Cool Mary! I love your block. How about hosting a spaghetti dinner (a dropin spaghetti night?) towards the end of April?

I'll talk to others in my co-op and see if we might do this. Maybe after the potluck at your place - as I know 4 and possibly more of us are going to come. I've also initiated some connections among housing co-op members in Kits - so it could be a good mix.
