Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
We currently maintain 3 seed libraries, making seeds available and providing information on seed saving at many local events, collaborative garden work parties, the Westside Community Food Market (most weeks), AND at the Kits Branch Vancouver Public Library and MLA David Eby's office.etc. In 2017, we've been present at 30-40 different events and activities in Kits and in nearby neighbourhoods. We can sometimes make small donations of seeds to new gardens, including school and youth gardens. Part of the Kits Village food network, including the Kits Village Collaborative Garden.

who wants to share some kale seeds to plant NOW! Winterbor
Hybrid vigour really shows in this Scottish kale. Plants are very tall and extremely productive with thick, very curly, ruffled, blue-green leaves. When small, it allows for multiple pickings for salads; later, the large plant handles winter well. This is our most frost hardy variety.
Matures in 60 days. (hybrid seeds)
