Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
I've just agreed to host a NOWBC depot at my home in south Dunbar (Mayfair and Dunbar), which is designated depot #49. If anyone is interested in accessing fresh food from local farms check out www.nowbc.ca.
They're like Spud, but have a much more consistent contact with local producers. As a direct to consumer from farm distributor they're not so commercial, and don't do delivery house to house. Instead they set up depots around Vancouver depending on customer locations.
Delivery is once a week on Wed at 5:40. You have to get your order in by Monday. The ordering opens on the prior weekend, once they have a confirmaiton from the producers as to what will be available.
