Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Does anyone know the best place to get earth for my garden? I thought the vancouver landfill would have the best priced and generally best earth but recently I was told that the landfill earth is full of nasty weed seeds. Does vancouver landfill practices of hot compost not kill them? Do food scraps get turned to earth in the time vancouver landfill holds that kind of waste? Any reviews or where I could find reviews?
Thank you for your help. I do have my own two compost bins but these do not produce enough earth for the area I need covered.
