Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Hey, I just kind of stumbled onto this site a couple months ago and its nice to see people with a sense of community given our pace of life especially in and around the city.
My family and I are finally in a more rural area where we have started a collection of chickens which provides our growing family of six more than enough eggs and gives my son a way to learn being responsible for animals. He also gets the added bonus of any profit he makes from selling the extra eggs to neighbors.

Since we have had chickens I got into building chicken coops and have started a little side business providing people with nice looking coops customized to their needs. big or small. I want to encourage folks to have their own sources of food and this is a good way to start because chickens are so easy!

So if you want to support another local business please go to my site www.thrivinghomes.blogspot.ca or contact me here if you or someone you know is interested.

Our family Also produces an organic line of fertilizer and plant nutrients which has been tested up against the top competitors and has been consistently superior. You can go to www.dominionorganics.com for more about our business.

All the best
