You are warmly invited to set aside the evening of Thursday, March 29,
2012 to work together on a collaborative vision for a women’s spiritual network in our area. Those of you who are engaging this initiative for the first time are most welcome. For those of you who participated in the “Women, Spirituality and Transformative Leadership” event on January 25th, this invitation represents a second step in a shared adventure! The warmth, safety and rich diversity of that wonderful evening can inspire us now to move forward.
Who should attend? As a woman of spirit and faith, you know something important about this moment in human history. You know it from your rich experiences in the world, and you know it from a place of deep wisdom within. Your unique pattern of knowing is part of a larger pattern of women’s wisdom being called forth at this time in service of this Earth and of humanity.
Whether we connect with ‘spirit’ through spiritual practices, a religious tradition, or compassionate secular values, this invitation is for us all.
(Are you on Facebook? RSVP here!)
Event details: Please come early for potluck supper at 6:00pm, if you can. At 7:00pm, we will gather in the Fireside Room to develop a collective sense of what is needed and wanted through a series of intimate “world cafe” conversations in small groups. Your hopes, thoughts and suggestions really matter. We have an opportunity to share in the unfolding of something potent and wonderful to support each woman’s inner connection and sharing of gifts.
For more information, please see the founding framework and values on the Women of Spirit and Faith Canada website. If you resonate with what you find there, next go to the Women of Spirit and Faith Canada Facebook group and ask to join.
We sincerely hope you will be able to participate, and invite you to invite others you feel may be interested.
Women of Spirit and Faith exists to invite the many brilliant threads of feminine spiritual leadership into relationship and to support emerging patterns for transformation at a pivotal time in history.
Note: this is a free event with free parking available. Donations to support this project will be gratefully received.
