Winter Growing Demo Day

The holiday season is here. Walk with us through a Winter Wonder Living Lab at the FoodGROWS’ showroom. We have planned a day of product demos, snacks, coffee and food growing inspiration … you can do some last minute Christmas shopping too!

Urban Farmers, Growing Enthusiasts and Health Nuts unite for an informative look at starting seedlings, setting up your indoor organic salad bar, and prepping for the upcoming spring season.

There will be a door prize draw for two classic Webber Barbecues during this exclusive drop in event on Saturday December 13th and Sunday December 14th.

Held at the FoodGROWS warehouse, the event will feature two part demonstrations on How to start seedlings and harvesting your winter gardens for use in energy boosting, detoxifying smoothies.

Tasi Gottschlag, Founder of FoodGROWS

Tasi will show you a few of our favourite seedling starters, and demonstrate how to plant, care for, transplant and best use these handy kits to make them productive year around. She will touch on lighting for seedlings, humidity and heat requirements as well as options for using your seedling kits after your seedlings have been moved outdoors. In addition she will discuss some great gift ideas to get you and your family growing.

Want to learn how to introduce and juice your own home grown ingredients? Learn energy boosting and detoxing secrets for finding balance and nutrition in your busy schedule. Recipe and a demonstration are included.
