Join Marpole Oakridge Neighbourhood Food Network's Seed Savers Club! Meet fellow gardeners, seed savers, and food enthusiasts and help support community food efforts in our neighbourhood. Ross Moster from Village Vancouver will lead us in exploring seed library and seed saving initiatives around the city and make a short seed saving presentation, and we'll also talk about the advantages of being a club member and how you can help sustain the Marpole Oakridge community seed library. We'll have the library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds, and help make seed packets. All ages welcome (minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult) and you don't need to know anything about saving seeds to participate! Marpole Oakridge community and school gardens - please enquire about a seed donation. Advanced registration recommended
Cost: This event is free!
