Come by and say hi!
We'll have one of our seed libraries at the Festival - you can get some free seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds, plus find out the latest about our sharing, permaculture, growing and seed library projects, our Volunteer Sunday,100-in-1 Day, Car Free Day Demo Sustainable Village activities, upcoming workshops, etc.
A couple VV booth volunteers needed. Please contact Ross at ross@villagevancouver.ca.

Spring is just around the corner and planning is in full swing for another great Stone Soup Festival. This East Vancouver tradition marks the beginning of spring and gives opportunity for the local community to celebrate together. This is a special year, celebrating our 20th year of bringing community together in celebration of spring, food and the environment. More than ever people are aware of the issues of food security, food justice, the benefits of sharing resources and eating ‘local’. Stone Soup will celebrate the global diversity of food, the environment and its importance to the ‘culture’ of our community. Included this year are local growers, an author talk, workshops and demonstrations, prepared food vendors, artists,community groups, free soup, music and more!
