An Afternoon at the Library: Lots More Than Books!

Village Vancouver is a grassroots, mostly vlounteer run non-profit society. We have thousands of community members and engage in over 350 mostly neighbourhood based activities and projects a year, and we're also part of the worldwide, permaculture inspired Transition Town movement. We engage individuals, neighbourhoods, and organiztions in taking actions which help connect neighbours in building just, sustainable, and resilient communities in fun and celebratory ways.
In this one hour interactive presentation, VV Founder and Convenor Ross Moster will hightlight some of our current and upcoming initiatives, as well as discussing some of the many ways in which people participate in Village. We'll have the VV Kits branch VPL community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate some seeds.
