Where else to continue our visioning for a better Main Street and a more sustainable and fun Vancouver than Cityview Church, right in the heart of Riley Park, two blocks east of Main on 28th Avenue!
This second seed-sharing evening in March (the first will be on the 14th and click here for details), this evening is also focussed on inviting newcomers to Transition, people who want to see what the movement is all about, people curious to learn and check us out.
This evening will be promoted widely in the neighbourhood and through the Meetup web service.
So come and bring any edible item of your choice, join our seed sharing library and make a withdrawal, share seeds you have saved, and partake of an evening of planning...planning for anything, as long as its fun and low in carbon. We'll also provide a very brief "Intro to Transition," which should help us find our path forward.
Only through individual actions fueled by collective collaboration will we continue to have the kind of planet that supports humanity, and everything else we value.
The potluck starts at 6:00 PM and short presentation and Open-Space-style visioning at 7:00. Bring your ideas for a project that will make your neighbourhood a better place to live.
Please RSVP on this page, feel free to join us just for the potluck or the brief presentation and visioning, and do not hesitate to show up at the last minute. Whether you can bring a food item or not, you will not go home hungry.
