Excited to share the news that the Vancouver Tool Library will be officially opening on July 16th, 2011!
We’ve got a fun celebration planned for the big day – we’ll be running mini workshops on planter box building, bike maintenance, and gardening, as well as doing shop tours, signing up new members, and collecting tool donations. Enjoy live music and a $5 BBQ lunch, all proceeds support the VTL.
It’s all happening from 11am - 4pm on Saturday July 16th.
It’s been a busy couple of months since we launched the website and first started talking to the broader community about this project back in March, and we couldn’t have come this far without your positive feedback, the support of our funders and founding members, and all the volunteers who have helped to develop our organization thus far. So come out to celebrate with us and check out our tool collection to get inspired!
