City Hall presentations: 9:30-10:00 AM
Walk start : 10:00 AM - Walk end : 12:00 PM
Science World talks & pledges: 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Bring those you care about to show the world you care about this planet and sustainability by walking, running or biking from City Hall to Science World where we will make the "Vancouver Sustainability Pledge" for World Earth Day. Based on "the Natural Step" (see 2 minuet video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFCNCQleCuk) it is hoped this pledge will go world wide and be adopted by many in Vancouver as a new way of living lightly to combat the effects of climate change.
Organizers wish it will build momentum to become a monthly summer event on the first Sunday of the month. There are two run clinics a week established.
