The October VFPC meeting falls the day after World Food Day and the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty so Paul Taylor and Brent Mansfield have been making arrangements for the theme of that meeting to be about these issues. The meeting also coincides with the Welfare Food Challenge (www.welfarefoodchallenge.org). Paul Taylor, Executive Director of the DTES Neighbourhood House, will be presenting on some of the issues, followed by a panel and some discussion. It should be very interesting, so you won't want to miss it.
