Open discussion of the vertical sprawl proposed for Broadway and Kingsway. Free admission, St. Patrick's Church Parish Hall. The main topic will be a rezoning proposal at Kingsway & Broadway that includes a potential precedent setting 19 storey tower; this proposal may be coming up for Public Hearing in July. Discussions will examine if there other ways of adding density without building energy inefficient glass highrises, review what is allowed under existing zoning, the community plan, and discuss the possible displacement of residents and small businesses alike.
