Event Description
Learn to make your own fermented vegetables. In this class we will make a seasonal creation of "Spring Slaw". The vegetables used will depend on what is seasonally available from local farmers, but will likely include greens (mustard greens) and radishes. Participants will be fully active in creating the slaw, and take home a jar with their own customized spice mixture. Participants should bring any of the following items that they can: cutting board, large knife, kitchen scissors, large bowl or tub, wide-mouth jar and lid. Wear clothes that you don't mind preparing food in.
