South Vancouver Food Security Festival

The Community Food Festival is a celebration of local food activities and a showcase of our community organizations’ efforts to build a sustainable and secure food network. We will be inviting various community partners to come together to host workshops regarding composting, farming, and cooking in the afternoons and evenings during the three days of the event. The Food Festival will culminate in a Food Fair on the final day of the festival in which community partners will showcase their projects, sell fresh produce, plants, healthy snack items, etc.

The Community Food Festival will be an opportunity for our neighbors, as well as the greater public, to connect with food assets and to gain a better understanding of food programming in South Vancouver.
