*Cedar Cottage Seedsavers Celebration / Meeting*

Cedar Cottage Seedsaving Collective has a lot to celebrate!!!

In our FIRST YEAR, our core group of six members created our seed bank and library, organized two seed-saving workshops (spring and fall), applied and received a Neighborhood Small Grant from Vancouver Foundation, coordinated some gardeners to grow out vegetable seed for our group, subscribed a community garden plot to grow out 2012 seed, and met about seven times (took the summer off to grow food) to organize and collaborate.

Our potluck celebration and last 2011 meeting is open to anyone interested (even if you don't live in Cedar Cottage area). So let me know if you want to attend AND stay and participate/listen at our meeting if you like.  We would be delighted to see you!

Here is the proposed agenda:

- Plans/ideas for next year - workshop, grant proposal, other
- Seed from 2011 growers?  What worked, what didn't, packaging
- What do we do with the seed that has expired
- Growing out seed for 2012 - info for administrator & growers
- Invite to Seedy Saturday event - North Vancouver, other events
- Advertising the seed bank and its contents, our collective
- Increasing membership - core group, growers, etc.
- Funds in bank account
- Next meeting January?
