Learn about the different strategies that plants use to reproduce and how to use this information to effectively select, harvest and store your own seeds. The emphasis is on annual food crops. Cost $30. Subsidies are available.

Grant Watson started Grant's Gourmet Gardens in 2007. He was previously an organic farmer and continues to be involved in organic agriculture in a number of roles, including serving on the certification committee of the BC Biodynamic Association. Grant has been teaching food gardening to children and adults since 2003.
The 1st workshop in VV's Fall 2013 Cultivating Food, Cultivating Community Series. Next workshop: Sept 24 Balcony and Container Gardening.
