Event Description
Scottish Ceilidh dancing is like square dancing with Scottish music. Usually around 100 people of all ethnicities, come to the monthly Ceilidhs. 140 people attended the March Ceilidh, aged 6 to 86, and there were lots of young people. The cost is $10 and includes a class from 7-8:00 and more dancing from 8-11:00. Even during the second part of the evening, all dances are explained before the music is played. You will hear laughter all night long. Ceilidh dancing is a great workout, but you can sit and watch if you get tired. Refreshments are by donation.
