A transformative group retreat to enliven and deepen our motivations for creating a just and sustainable world
Stanley Park Ecology Centre, Coast Salish Territory, Vancouver, B.C. -- Saturday February 22 – Sunday February 23
Engage heart, mind and spirit in the task of deepening and repairing our connections to ourselves, our human community and all planetary life.
Within a safe and transformative group process, celebrate the joy and beauty of life, open to your place within nature, and share witness to a full range of feelings about the challenges facing our troubled world.
Through dialogue, ritual, and contemplation, skilled and experienced facilitators invite you into new ways of seeing, encourage you to speak your truths and to find the creativity for bringing your gifts into the service of life.
“A very safe and enriching environment. The way the processes were woven together, it was as if we all built the web together, following the facilitators lead. It made it very easy to go deeper into myself and access my truth.”
“A life changing experience in opening the body, mind and spirit to the potential of who we are in relation to all other beings on this fragile planet we call home.”
“A time of nourishment and rejuvenation, a reclaiming of my personal power, a naming of my future direction and of experiencing immense gratitude to all beings.”
The Work That Reconnects is a pioneering form of group work developed by eco-philosopher Joanna Macy. It has helped many thousands around the globe find insight, solidarity, and courage to act. This program, inspired by Joanna’s work and mentoring, also integrates a wider range of diverse experiences and influences.
