Event Description
Windstorms, floods, economic dislocation, earthquakes - you buy insurance against some of these, but have you taken steps to increase preparedness in your home and community? Come learn simple steps you can take with others in your neighbourhoods to prepare your family, pets and friends. We'll look at a number of scenarios, draw on comprehensive preparation guides, and discuss personal strategies to increase your resilience to unforeseen events.
Ann Pacey is a Board member of VillageVancouver, a member of several Village Vancouver working groups, and the lead member of Village Vancouver's Emergency Preparedness project.
