Event Description
Vertical gardens are beautiful, creative additions to your home or other buildings, allowing food gardening in unlikely locations. In this free hands-on Green Neighbourhood Small Grant workshop with Dr. Yael Stav at Village Vancouver's July Permaculture Vancouver Meetup, we'll discuss the various ways to set up a vertical garden, and use our knowledge to expand the vertical garden outside McBride Park Fieldhouse, including adding additional plants. Following this, we'll explore the benefits of drip irrigation, review the various components involved, and plan and instal drip irrigation for the vertical garden. Part of the 5th Annual Westside Food Festival (June 15-August 5).
