Event Description

Neighbourhood Small Grants and Greenest City Grants are back!

Neighbourhood Small Grants are funded by the Vancouver Foundation and the Greenest City Grants by the Vancouver Foundation and the City of Vancouver. They allow groups of two or more neighbours to apply for $50 -$1000 to work together on projects that benefit their neighbourhood socially, physically, culturally or environmentally.

All kinds of projects can receive funding. For example, you could paint a mural, plant a garden, teach a cooking or art class, celebrate a cultural holiday, host a music recital, hold a dialogue or talking circle, share a craft or skill, or have a block party.

The 2013 applications are now online at: www.neighbourhoodsmallgrants.ca

Deadline is March 31, 2013.

How would you like to make your neighbourhood a better place?

Definitely in. Two ideas - one for greenstreets gardeners. Interested? contact me - I want a group to apply to create structures on traffic circle gardens.
