The Building Welcoming and Inclusive Neighbours Program at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House invites you to join us for an upcoming workshop this Saturday Feb.02nd. Only 12 spaces are still available, and registration is on a first come/first served basis. ECO-FRIENDLY GIFT GIVING: “Good for the Heart Green Gift Giving” - A healthy gift for the ones you love—and for the Earth
Workshop participants will bake chocolate chip cookies which are “good for the heart”: low in fat, sodium, and sugar. Using recycled cans, materials, and natural paint from kidney beans, participants will make and decorate cookie containers.
We will also make Valentines cards to go with the cookies. The end product is a healthy gift made from recycled and natural materials:
