Event Description
Come enjoy a meal created and hosted by a Kits neighbour.
Tonight's meal will be hosted by Sandra and Ryan near 7th and Yew. Open to anyone, the drop-ins are especially aimed at neighbours living close to the host (within 2 or 3 blocks).
This is the 5th in a series of several dinners taking place between July and November, and is supported by a Green Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Vancouver Foundation (administered by Kits Neighbourhood House), to increase awareness of our food sources and promote community connections.
They’re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in the past have involved serving spaghetti. Each meal, however, is different, depending on what the host wants to serve. Tonight's meal will be buffet style, and limited to 10 participants. (More details to follow.)
The source of the ingredients will be tracked, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are at a community- wide Drop-in "Spaghetti" gathering on November 29th.
Exact address will be emailed a couple days before the dinner to everyone who RSVP's here or to ross@villagevancouver.ca.
The next evening will be hosted by Derek in early November near 3rd and Cypress.

Would love to drop by tomorrow if I can make it (probably not for food, due to dietary considerations)... however, would definitely love to meet/chat with you, as I live very close by, at 8'th near Vine.
