Event Description
Village Vancouver presents this workshop covering the basics of planning, preparing and starting a food garden this spring. You'll learn some simple techniques from Rhiannon Johnson for starting plants indoors and in the garden, tailored to your space. Be rewarded with the taste of freshly grown veggies this season! We'll have the VV-SCC Community Seed Library present where you can take, swap or donate seeds.
Cost: $0-$10.

Our healthy, local food residency at the Strathcona Park Field House offers a variety of affordable food and community based programming at the fieldhouse, Strathcona Community Centre, and elsewhere.This workshop is part of VV's Winter 2017 Cultivating Food, Cultivating Community Series at Strathcona CC.
