In this Village Vancouver workshop with Caitlin Dorward, we will cover all the basics of boiling water bath canning and make some festive holiday preserves to enjoy with friends and family or to give as gifts. All materials are provided; participants take home a jar of what is made and a handout covering the info presented in the workshop.
Come a little early for our Community Seed Library - you can get some free seeds or swap or donate.
Cost: "Pay what you can" -- $0-25 sliding scale fee, with a suggested fee of $25, including materials. If not paying the suggested fee, please register over the phone or in person. 50% subsidies are also available to low income residents of Vancouver with a Leisure Access Card.
