Event Description
Our July Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Potluck will continue our workshops on growing food in small places with both seeds and seedlings available for anyone to take home and start an indoor or outdoor garden. Seedlings to give away for free will include tomatoes, peppers, herbs, squash, etc. We'll also have our Seed Library there for free withdrawals.
This month, we will show how to make outside inside.
Given our unseasonably cold spring and summer thus far, cold frames (aka greenhouses) may be the only way to get anything to mature. We will teach how to make one, and in fact complete one for a raised bed. Also, find out what VV on Main St. is doing and how you can get involved.
What: Main Street Village Vancouver Potluck, Workshop & Seed/Seedling Share
When: Tuesday, July 5th, 6-8pm (6:00 - Potluck, 7-8pm - Workshop)
Where: Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (Main @ 24th Ave, next to the library)
