Join us to say "Goodbye Gordon" Sat., June 7, 2014 from 2:00-7:00 pm.
All past alumni, their families and the greater neighbourhood community are invited for one final opportunity to visit the General Gordon Elementary School building before the 102-year-old structure is torn down over the summer, to be replaced with a new, seismically-safe building in 2016.
There will be a bouncy castle, a cake walk, chalk murals, face painting and all the other lovely activities that are part of a school fair, along with a ceremony 2pm, a giant "G" on the field at 3pm, acknowledgement of our alumni and history, and lots of music.
Village engages individuals, neighbourhoods & organizations to take actions that build sustainable communities & have fun doing it. Join us!
