Hi there! I am Tracey Loslo, chief dig at i-DIG gardening. We are a very small, award winning, landscape design, property rejuvenation, and maintenance company who is looking for a new crew member.
We service residential clients in New Westminster and have an immediate opening for a green hearted team player with lots of experience, expertise and confidence in plant ID and non-mechanized, plants and garden maintenance. We do not mow lawns.
You must be in excellent physical condition and have a very strong back. We ride pedal bikes up and down the hills of New Westminster all day to our client sites. Riding around in the sun, listening to the birds and the bees is a really great way to commute HOWEVER we tow a 100 lb tool cart behind our bikes, from job to job AND when we install new landscapes, there is alot of heavy lifting. You really need to be in excellent physical condition.
We're not looking for someone whose simply taken a few courses or someone who has primarily mowed lawns. We do not stand-up and weed with hoes or tillers, we are down on our knees, smelling the flowers, communing with the bees and butterflies while using our intellect and our hand tools to beautify our clients' properties. Understandably only a seasoned gardening expert will fit the requirement. Wages will be in proportion to your level of expertise and experience.
Lastly we do not put tools in the soil when it is raining, thus your hours can be irregular and are dependent on Mother Nature. However, when it stops raining be prepared to make up for lost time with long hours.
Please submit all inquiries to Tracey@i-DIG.ca. If you are happily employed, please forward this onto someone who you think would fit!

Kind regards ... Tracey.
