There's a lot you can learn about a garden simply by observing it. This Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Karen Ageson from Farmers on 57th will explore why and when to observe a garden, as well as where to look and what to look for, including identifying some common weeds. We'll have the Village Vancouver Kits branch VPL community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. This workshop is part of the Westside Food Festival (July 5-August 9).
