When? Sunday, October 28 from 1-5 pm
Where? Van Tech High School
Who? This is a family neighbourhood event and is open to everyone, sponsored by the Small Neighbourhood Grants program. Organized by Duncan Martin and Ilana Labow.
What? Come on out and join your neighbours in celebrating the fall harvest -- and bring home some fresh (non-alcoholic) apple cider! Meet area farmers, enjoy harvest-themed activities, and learn first-hand how to press apples into a sweet cider that can be boiled, bottled, and enjoyed year-round. Local apples will be provided, A home-made press will be on hand, as well as a brand new but old fashioned press generously provided by The Vancouver Homesteaders Emporium. BYOJ (Bring Your Own Jug!).
