You can create your own medicine in your kitchen! Learn to incorporate familiar culinary and garden herbs as well as some exotics into all kinds of remedies.

 

These tasty foods are all delicious ways to ensure we remember to access the vitamin, mineral rich tonic herbs so valuable to us this time of year!

 

Beginner and intermediate herbal enthusiasts benefit from lots of resources, take-home remedies from the class, tasty samples, recipes and more!

Cold and Flu-Prevention

 

Learn to create your own medicine in your kitchen!
This is a ‘medicine cabinet meets culinary pantry’ class
In this fun and informative hands-on class, we will be focusing on cold prevention
and remedies! For this winter class, we’ll be making

  • Antioxidant, cold & flu-fighting elderberry and rose hip syrup with warming-spiced poached pears
  • Immune-enhancing herbal chai tea
  • Immunity miso soup
  • Self- care herbal style! Remedies and techniques to help ease you into the changing season!
  • We’ll be learning about herbalism resources, terms and methods of preparation
