Evolver Spores: Revolution 2.0
Revolution literally means a turn around, 180 degrees of a fundamental shift in governing power, transpiring in a short period of time. Spurred on by human rights violations, corruption, and poverty, the 2011 revolutions and uprisings of the Arab world show us the viral and inspirational power of change, as people become the change they wish to see in a groundswell of leaderless revolutions. From Madison, where state police and peaceful protestors found solidarity in each other, to London with a half million people in the streets, we see an accelerating face of transformation, while social media such as Facebook and Twitter facilitate new ways of connecting community via synaptic web communication.
Yet it is protests to permaculture, meditation to mediation, all fronts both “passive” and active that work to transform and bring us to the brink of a new world. This month 40+ Evolver spores will explore the multiple dimensions of Revolution 2.0 and collaborate with groups such as Zeitgeist, Transition Towns, 350.org to work for long term sustainable change and feedback the world a dream of its own transformation.
Stay tuned for more info including post Spore social & music/dance program. Looking for relevant acts and music for this. Also go to:
