Deeper Roots Seniors' Community Garden Info Night

As you may know, we have 10 (3x10) raised, accessible beds, on a 90' by 21' foot lot, which is being made available to the surrounding community and exclusively for seniors that are 55+.

The garden will feature a drip irrigation system, 4x8 shed, compost bins, beautiful bench seating area, and more.

In addition, our group is organizing and providing monthly trainings and community building events for anyone in the community interested in organic gardening and local food movements.

Our info night will feature presentations and information about the values and spirit behind the garden project, info about the registration and allotment process, and an opportunity to connect with others involved in community gardening around our great city.

We will have presenters from Farm City, A Rocha, Little Mountain Community House, and more.
