Event Description

Artisan Bread and Savoury Soup!!
Healthy Cooking Class
St. Mark's Anglican Church – 1850 Larch Street (at West 2nd Avenue)
3-4:30pm in the Lower Kitchen

Learn Herb Focaccia and Lemony Spinach-Lentil Soup. Both items are Vegan friendly. Two simple soup “add-on” choices will accommodate those who like dairy and/or animal protein. Making one's own bread is satisfying and easy!  It's an essential appetizer. The wonderful aroma permeates one's home and makes visitors fell like special guests!  The dough is versatile. Once practised, it can be used to make all sorts of tasty creations (pizza, naan, etc!).  The Soup is a delicious, nourishing one-pot “dish” and makes a quick meal when accompanied with bread!! The class cost includes all ingredients, one loaf of bread to take home, a cup of soup, your own batch of dough (enough to make 4 loaves) and class recipes/instructions.  You get all this for $50 per student!  Students must bring a 4-litre food safe container with lid. Bonus:  Bring two friends to the class and get your next one free!  To learn more about my background/style, please refer to my promotional card.  Please forward this to anyone who is curious!! Looking forward to your replies!! It's going to be a great class! RSVP by sending Russell by sending an email to thelocal@organic@gmail.com
