West End Community Potluck (Seed Saving) and WE Urban Garden Club (Concepts in Year-round Gardening)

Join WE Neighbourhood Food Network and Village Vancouver at our monthly family friendly gathering. Bring something yummy and share some good food and conversation with neighbours. We'll have a seed library there - pick up some free seeds for your garden, or swap or donate seeds or plants.This month's mini-workshop is Seed Saving.

The Food Network's WE Urban Garden Club meets from 7:30-8:30 after the potluck/workshop. Join us in exploring possibilities for creating a new community garden and other gardening spaces in the West End.  We will also be organizing food and gardening workshops, a pollinator corridor, and other activities. Each month we hold a discussion or present a short talk on a food related topic of interest to West Enders and others. This month's topic is Concepts in Year-round Gardening. Next month the topic is Gardening and Climate Change  -- October: Birds and Plants — November: Wind, Rain and Plants. All ages welcome!
