Event Description

See the world from a new perspective through the lens of your camera. The term bokeh comes from the Japanese word boke, meaning “blur” or “haze”. Using the lively early-summer garden, Jenni will teach you how to take photos with enchanting blurred backgrounds. Learn how to get your focus, aperture and lighting just right and make light dance in your photos and your subjects pop. Practice course concepts in the Garden, then come back to the classroom for a feedback session. Bring a camera, blank memory card and lunch. It is recommended that students have a DSLR camera and a lens with a low F-stop of at least f/2.8.

Instructor: Jenni Rempel
VanDusen Member: $45 / Non-Member: $55
