Want to grow food but you live in an apartment? In this course we will cover the techniques and challenges specific to gardening indoors and on balconies in containers. We'll look at soil, fertilizing organically, watering, containers, different sun orientations and what to grow. Cost $30. Subsidies are available.
Instructor: Grant Watson
Grant started Grant's Gourmet Gardens in 2007. He was previously an organic farmer and continues to be involved in organic agriculture in a number of roles, including serving on the certification committee of the BC Biodynamic Association. Grant has been teaching food gardening to children and adults since 2003.
