Event Description

I, Mary Bennett, will be on board Sat Aug 17 & 24. Drop by between 10am - 6pm and say "hello".

This summer, every Friday through Sunday, from July 5th to August 25th, over 40 different artists will be taking part in the Art on the Master Project aboard the historic steam tug S.S. Master. The Master, Granville Island’s own heritage vessel, will be docked at the Granville Island Public Market docks throughout the summer and will be the “studio on the water” for art created on Granville Island’s waterfront. The public is invited aboard on weekends to explore this iconic West Coast workboat from the engine room to the wheelhouse and watch the artists at work.
