Event Description

Did you know that linen comes from flax? And that flax was one of humanity's most ancient agricultural crops, with many myths and legends about making it into cloth? Come down to the Aberthau Garden for hands-on, family friendly linen-making and spinning activities with Rebecca Graham from EartHand, and see if you can also 'turn straw into gold'. Rain or shine. Dress for the weather!

Hosts: Village Vancouver, EartHand, artist-in residence LocoMotoArt, and Aberthau Mansion (West Point Grey Community Centre)

Cost: Free
